Trick or Treat at our Place this year







Sure we were planning a big party with live bands, costumes, hot wings, and all the booze you can drink but between budgetary concerns (we make no money) and the whole pandemic thing we had to scale back, way back. 


Of course, we were going to have beer.

was going to be there too.


We even had a band lined up.


Two Bands.

So, no bands, no costumes, no hot wings, and no booze. What we do have is books. Free ones.

Starting with a wicked novella full of the undead wreaking havoc from Todd Morr called The New Mexico Institute of Re-Animation, and all the post-apocalyptic zombie action and recipes you can handle in Bodie Myers' Camp Hendrix. Plus a few short horror stories perfect for Halloween from both of them called Friday Night at Hell's Drive-In for free all day on the 31st.



That should be enough but because it's Halloween we also have the horror/noir hybrid The Walking Funeral - Hell Book 1 for free this Halloween. If you dig this one we've discounted The Hellogy, the first three books in Hell series, down to,99. That's right three books in one explosive collection for less than a dollar.

Okay, maybe horror isn't your thing or maybe after a month of it you need a break or maybe you love it but want some variety. Well, we've dropped the price of W.W.J.D. Jesus Saves, Satan Invests 2 down to less than a buck as well.

Swinging Dick's Saloon, the kind of dive that has way better beers on tap than a hole in the wall like it should have. Like this one It's the kind of place that doesn't have to say it's a dive bar because everyone knows just by looking at the place. Also, any bar that advertises itself as a dive bar is not a dive bar. This is not Swinging Dicks Saloon It's the kind of place where the owner (Dick though he tells people to call him, Richard) is often the drunkest guy in the place, though sometimes he drinks in the bar down the street because the barmaids are hotter.
